What a perfect venue to see an art exhibition.

We came to see the Kandinsky exhibition which was marvelous but
were ultimately more in awe of the building!

Changing colours

A walk in the park

The squirrels are very active at this time of year,
scurrying around hiding nuts for the winter.
A few of the trees have started to turn but
we are still about a month away from the
spectacular show of Autumn Colours.

Sound and Light Show

I was walking past my dining room table and noticed
the sun was peeking through the blinds
and dancing on the flowers
with the music in the background...
just a lovely scene! (For those of you who may be

interested, the music is from Portraits in Jazz by

the late, great Bill Evans)

Brief visits

It's a sign of Autumn that the Goldfinches have returned.
We see them in the spring as they migrate north and then again in the fall.

They like to feast on the seeds of the Echinacea and Rudbekia

They will be here for a couple of weeks and then
make their way
further
south
for the winter.

the bees and wasps enjoy the flowers too.
